2 Caramelised Onions & a Sausage

 

| Ingredients |

2  Onions

1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

 

| Method |

  1. Peel and finely slice the onions lengthways.
  2. On a low heat, add 1 Tbsp of oil into the saucepan and cook until soft and tender.
  3. Add 1 Tbsp of balsamic vinegar and 2 Tbsp of brown sugar and turn the heat up slightly.
  4. Continue to stir until the onions become caramelised, sticky and a darker shade. (Allow 15-20 Minutes).
  5. Allow to cool. 
  6. Served best with Angus Beef sausages and bread
